Microsoft rolls out music controls for the Your Phone app in Windows 10 - mccraryhisamoss
On Wednesday, Microsoft declared 2 new features headed for Windows users: sound capability for the Your Phone app, and a nested virtualization capability that to date had excluded PCs victimization AMD's Ryzen processors. The two features rolled out simultaneously as part of the bran-new Windows 10 Insider Anatomy 19645.
The audio frequency controls app update is part of the ongoing rub-a-dub of new features to the Your Phone app. In the Windows 10 May 2020 Update now resonating out to the general common, we noted in our recap that Your Phone now felt processed. Your Phone connects to an Android phone and allows you to interact with it from your Windows desktop, sending messages, placing calls, and more. Some technical functions are limited to Samsung phones, with which Microsoft seems to have forged a privileged relationship.
Not so the new audio frequency controls, however, which debuted as part of Windows 10 Insider build 19619 in Apr. Now available to everyone, the updated Your Phone app doesn't allow you tomanually manage a play list, nor does it provide other fine-grained sound options. Instead, information technology offers the basics—play, intermit, and track controls—in a squeeze, dedicated interface for dominant music and other audio apps. (In this cause, you're controlling an app like Spotify that lives on your headphone, not the related web or Windows app).
To take advantage of the other feature, make a point that both the Your Phone app as well as the phone's Your Phone Fellow app are updated, Microsoft says.
Microsoft's new Insider soma holds some niche improvements specifically for those who are involved in code growth, Eastern Samoa well as Linux. With this build, Microsoft switched its "service" fashion mode for the Windows Subsystem for Linux from its own Computer storage app to Windows Update. That's a fancy agency of locution that if you loved to download the latest updates to the Linux kernel, you'd previously have to hunt them out in the Microsoft Store. With this build, they'll be sent to your PC directly via Windows Update.
For developers, Windows allows you to tend virtual machines, essentially a protected PC-within-a-PC to essa out new software. Nested virtualization takes that a step further: you can run a VMwithin another VM, such as testing out an Android emulator in spite of appearanc of a virtual Osmium.
Eastern Samoa Microsoft noted Wednesday, that capability was moderate to PCs using Intel's Core chips, and not AMD's Ryzen processors. That's directly changed. For the average Microcomputer exploiter, this North Korean won't matter unity bit. Politically, though, it's providing AMD's Ryzen equal billing next to Intel CPUs.
